The program was implemented in Mekarbuana Village, Tegalwaru District, Karawang Regency, with participants consisting of village officials directly involved in administrative management and public service delivery. The community engagement employed a combination of methods, including structured training, hands-on mentoring, practical sessions on the use of the Village Information System (SID), and an evaluation of participants’ competencies through pre-test and post-test assessments. The training materials focused on improving digital literacy, managing administrative data using ICT tools, operating digital-based public service applications, and utilizing the official village website as a medium for transparency and public communication. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ technological competence and understanding. The average comprehension score increased from 58% to 87% after the training. Most participants were able to manage population and administrative data electronically, update public information content on the village website, and respond to citizens’ feedback through digital platforms. The program also fostered greater motivation among village officials to optimize ICT-based public services and to apply the principles of Good Village Governance. This activity proves that the integration of ICT into village governance not only improves efficiency and the quality of public services but also promotes community participation and builds a culture of transparency and accountability at the local government level.
2026-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Nono Heryana, Rini Mayasarihttps://ejournal.nusamandiri.ac.id.103-80-238-135.cpanel.site/index.php/abdimas/article/view/6444MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN MEMBACA TEKS BAHASA INGGRIS SISWA MELALUI PELATIHAN INFLECTIONAL MORPHEMES BERBASIS VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN2025-08-22T02:44:29+00:00Rugaiyah Rugaiyahruqaiyah@edu.uir.ac.idSyofianis Ismailsyifianisismail@edu.uir.ac.id
This Community Service Program was implemented at Madrasah Aliyah Diniyah Puteri Pekanbaru, located at Jalan KH. This program aims to provide training to MA students on the use of video-based inflectional morphemes. The program was motivated by the problem of students who had difficulty understanding and using inflectional morphemes, a linguistic skill that is crucial for improving the accuracy of English reading comprehension. In the context of English as a foreign language (EFL) education in Indonesia, limited exposure to authentic English usage and insufficient emphasis on morphology instruction often hinder students' fluency and accuracy in reading. Mastery of morphological structures, particularly inflectional morphemes, is a crucial foundation for interpreting grammatical meaning and improving overall communication skills. The training participants were 29 Grade 11 science students with low initial comprehension scores based on pre-test results. The training was conducted using discussion and demonstration methods supported by instructional videos containing explanations, examples, and applications of inflectional morphemes in sentence contexts. The activity was carried out in three stages: observation, implementation, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant increase in the average score, from 45.5 before the training to 67.7 after the training. In addition to academic improvement, this program also encouraged student engagement, increased confidence in using English, and fostered active participation in class discussions. These findings confirm that integrating educational videos into English language instruction can effectively enhance understanding of morphological concepts and their application in reading, writing, and real-world communication.
2026-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Rugaiyah Rugaiyah, Syofianis Ismailhttps://ejournal.nusamandiri.ac.id.103-80-238-135.cpanel.site/index.php/abdimas/article/view/6393TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL PRAKTIK KONSELING PESANTREN MELALUI PLATFORM RUANG VIRTUAL BERBASIS PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH2025-10-06T06:29:34+00:00Agus Pamujiagus.pamuji@syekhnurjati.ac.idRina Rindanahrina.rindanah@syekhnurjati.ac.idM. This article discusses the representation of cultural values and conservation in Komodo Tangga, an ethnopedagogical educational game developed for elementary school students on Rinca Island, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this activity is to increase children's understanding of the importance of Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis) conservation, introduce local cultural values, and instill environmentally friendly behavior through a participatory and contextual approach. The implementation method consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The activities included field observations, interviews with school partners, game trials, student pre-tests and post-tests, as well as discussion and reflection sessions with teachers and local facilitators. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in student understanding after the implementation of the Komodo Tangga game, as indicated by an increase in the average pre-test score from 54.2 to 82.5 on the post-test, covering aspects of local cultural knowledge and understanding of Komodo conservation. These findings confirm that the ethnopedagogical approach through local game media can be a community-based education model that is worth developing in other conservation areas in Indonesia. Adolescents are vulnerable to food poisoning due to limited knowledge and skills in safe food handling. This community service activity involved partners from SMAN 6 Depok and aimed to address the main problems faced by teenagers, such as limited knowledge about the types of microorganisms that can cause contamination in food. Educating adolescents is crucial, considering that the highest cases of food poisoning occur in this age group, yet education efforts are still rare because most health programs focus on groups directly involved in food processing. The methods used include interactive educational approaches, such as presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions, as well as laboratory practices to observe microorganisms with the aid of a microscope. The activity also involved administering questionnaires in the form of pre-tests and post-tests to the adolescents. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in knowledge about the types of microorganisms that cause food contamination, from 40% to 96%. This educational program has strong sustainability potential with long-term impacts in the form of increased adolescents’ knowledge and a reduced risk of foodborne diseases.
2026-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Seftiwan Pratami Djasfar, Meiskha Bahar, Wilfadri Putra Jonesti, Fajriati Zulfa, Yuni Setyaningsihhttps://ejournal.nusamandiri.ac.id.103-80-238-135.cpanel.site/index.php/abdimas/article/view/7390PEMBUATAN APLIKASI KOPERASI SIMPAN PINJAM DI DESA BAMBE, DRIYOREJO2026-01-05T06:44:08+00:00Devi Dwi Purwantodevi.dp@ukwms.ac.idSlamet Winardislamet.winardi@ukwms.ac.idPhilipus Suryo Subandorophilipus@ukwms.ac.idShierly Kartika Salimshierly.kartika@ukwms.ac.idRobertus Geraldyn Alexandro Gabelerrobertusgeraldyn34@gmail.comBerliana Az Zahra Tristiantiberliana-a.inf24@ukwms.ac.idAgustinus Bimo Gumelarbimo@ukwms.ac.id
This community service activity aims to support the Savings and Loan Cooperative in Bambe Village, Driyorejo District, in addressing problems of inefficient manual recording, potential errors, and suboptimal transparency of financial information for members. To resolve this problem, one effort that can be done is to stimulate the community, especially families of stunted toddlers, to become economically empowered. One of these efforts is by providing productive skills combined with education related to stunting. The implementation method of the activity is focused on a collaborative and practical approach, starting with coordination with the Village Government to identify participants, followed by entrepreneurship training that includes interactive lectures on stunting and hands-on training in making dish soap, laundry soap, and softener. Through this method, the activity aims to create new sources of income for families as a practical step in stunting prevention efforts. The Rumah Sabun community service activity has succeeded in improving the technical skills of 23 participants in producing dish soap, laundry soap, and softener, which previously did not have any at all. The evaluation results showed a significant increase, where 34.8% of participants (8 people) were categorized as capable and 65.2% (15 people) were categorized as quite capable, so that there were no longer any unskilled participants.
